its a good thing to start a day learning that one of your long held belief is wrong. i started the day reading this blog:

i could scarce believe that i overlooked this. i checked the cult book on C and 'practise of programming'. unbelievable! everyone has missed it? i still donot understand how we 'all' overlooked it.

while one thinks the last line from the blog is overstated, i won't argue, given what i just found out. i wonder how vigilant one needs to be while writing code. |
